Default Louisville's Beverly Hills?

Ok, not really, but Floyds Knobs, IN is underrated as an upscale suburb within minutes of downtown. There is a few subdivisions in particular, on S Skyline Dr. which sit atop hills and have sweeping views of the city and downtown skyline from about 10-15 miles out.

Also, your dollar flies a loooong way over there. I found a nice real estate mapping website. Here is a nice example:

Croce is on a distinguished road
That's a nice place and you could probably get it for 700k. However, my son lives in Indiana and is paying around 2% in property taxes as opposed to our roughly 1%. On a house like this, that is some serious dough. Not to mention that the property tax system in Indiana is undergoing a major revision and I'm not sure whether or not it's been settled yet.
