We are from Missouri...Meeting some family in Louisville in a couple weeks. We will be driving one vehicle to Cincinnati for a college graduation and we want to park one vehicle in Louisville for 3 days. We will be stopping at the Slugger Museum when we meet. If we leave our second vehicle parked at the 8th and Market PARC garage behind the Slugger Factory, will it be safe? Or are we better off to go to the airport or somewhere else? Thanks for any advice!

Yes. Downtown Louisville is very safe. In general, though, the areas east of 9th street are the safest. Crime increases west of 9th street. 4th and main and also 4th and liberty are two of the highest traffic areas for pedestrians, 24/7. It may be better to park in one of those garages, but you should be fine at 8th and market as well.
