I am a resident of Crestwood. It is a lovely late fall night here as I write this. Yesterday morning my wife and I attended a local real estate auction. We enjoyed a light overcast sky and near freezing temperatures. Tonight we are nearly 60 with a drizzling cold rain. That is Crestwood climate. It is "wait 15 minutes and it will change". In fact, Crestwood weather is very mild with few extremes. While we might hit zero or 100, those numbers are rare with 4 or 5 snows per year that give us 2-6 inches and typically all gone before the next. Our summers are 75-85 with some 90-95 days. Our crime is typically not considered vicious, but we are not crime free. Bugs, well, occassionally there is the cockroach, maybe a Junebug or a even silverfish, but not many bugmen making wealthy livings here. Idiots, oh, yeah. Idiots, why you asked this question bothers me. We are all idiots here but there might be room for one more.

Crestwood is a wonderful area. A great rural feel but still close to a big city.

It all depends on where you're moving from. If you're moving from Alaska, we may be a bit buggy to you. If you're moving from Miami you'll likely scoff at what we call bugs. All in all Crestwood is almost ideal. A bit rural, nice, picturesque with well educated folks and a short (15 minute) drive to almost any king of dining you may want. Property values are holding well.
