Hi Everyone,

We are going to be moving to Louisville within the next 2-3 months. My husband's company is relocating us.
We have no idea where to even begin looking. He will go out about a month before the kids and I.

-Where you are working.....He will be a market manager for four properties in the Louisville Metro area as well as four properties in Indiana but his company would prefer we live in Louisville.
-How much you are willing to spend on housing....We will be renting as this is expected to not be long term. Ideally, $1100-1200/mo
-How long of a commute you're willing to tolerate...He will be commuting no matter where we live, but we'd like it somewhat central to the metro
-If you have kids: Private school or public school? .....Right now we are homeschooling but will enroll our 5 yr old in the fall.
-What type of neighborhood environment you are looking for: small town feeling? small city excitement? suburbia delight?.....Small town feel
-Community amenities important to you....I'd love parks within walking distance.
-Pie or cake? Cake (yellow with chocolate frosting!)

Also, if anyone can recommend a good rental property company, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Rebecca

Welcome to Kentucky! Louisville is a great city, I think you will enjoy it a lot.
Great parks, a Foodie's Paradise, always something fun to do ~ My favorite parks were Cherokee Park, Tom Wallace Park and Iroquois.
(I am not so sure how safe the area around Iroquois Park is though, so I would recommend looking near Cherokee Park)

^There are a lot more web sites, but this should keep you busy looking for a bit.

here is a company that you may find very helpful so you font have to worry about the rental property or trying to find tenants, go to Hillcrest Homes | A Division of Hillcrest Homes, Inc. or call them up at 859-647-9990, on there website they have live support so you can ask questions right there to save some time. Let me know if this helps.
