There were a few with people in them and by the nekked trees, it was probably cold.

The levy trail there is where I do most of my walking. Walk about a mile down, go down by where the church is and look around down there

Default Lesser South End Courts

Not as grand as the Old Louisville courts, these are in "Southern Heights", about a block off of Southern Parkway

I've always wondered why this type of development didnt continue into modern times, as it seems like such a nice concept.

BTW, to show you how depressing Dayton is compared to Louisville, here is Dayton's sole example of a Louisville style court...note the condition:

I really miss Louisville, esp. since I live in a place that could be as nice as Louisville if only the people cared more. One realizes that what makes a city i its people and their civic pride.

One final shot...."I Luv Loavuhl".....

Jeff...move back then! You live in dayton? Yeah, they seems like a dying town. Are pedestrian courts unique to Louisville? I have not been able to find much on it...

...there is that one in Dayton that I posted a pic of, so not unique to Louisville. I vaguely recall Richmond VA has some?

I'd say your about 20 minutes from downtown in some of those pix?

For people wanting property or to keep horses, this would be a good area to look, maybe.
