Where did you get a rendering of the new housing at U of L? I couldn't even get one from Larry Owsley.

As promised, here is the rendering for Capital Plaza, the 380 foot skyscraper planned for Sixth and Market.
And, here is Louisville's skyline in 2011, after the arena, Museum Plaza, and Capital Plaza are built. This does not include the numerous other towers proposed or under construction on the east side of downtown!

That new building is a lot more impressive than it sounded - it will also keep MP from sticking out there by itself to the west in the skyline

Here are some recently completed buildings in Downtown
New Residence Inn by Marriot. Edit: Nice pic Census, but this is a Residence Inn (not Radisson), completed in 2005, located in the east market arts and lofts district, aka "Phoenix Hill." It is one of the nicer hotels downtown for the price if you wish to avoid the high prices at some of the four star hotels like the Brown, Seelbach, Marriot, or 21C.
Waterfront Park Place residential tower, 2005 (this building is adding a Phase II currently U/C with some wonderful parkside condos for anyone interested in downtown living). --stx12499
Marriott Hotel, 2006 (left of center)
Preston Pointe, 2006
...and I haven't even mentioned anything about Downtown's Medical Sciences Center
U of L Cardiovascular Research Building, 2006 (middle)
Jewish Hosp. Medical Tower EDIT: This is actually the main tower at Jewish Hospital which has been there for years. The Frazier Rehab center is the one completed in 2007, and there is no pic of that here. --stx12499
2 more buildings, both 8 stories tall, are currently under construction. They are pictured in a prev. post
