No, I am taking my state nurse aide registration test at Elizabethtown Community College - my CNA school was in Lexington but they only schedule the test at ECC. I'll take the short drive up to check on those projects and get some pictures
I will move back in August 2009 and stay until I finish at U of L, which is probably 3-4 semesters.

As with most U of L projects, I really like the styling of the buildings. These have a very modern look to them, although they aren't brick which was a surprise
Site work has began on the other luxury apartment project on the north side of Shipp Ave

bleh! This is way too suburban for an urban city like Louisville. This reminds me of the crap I am looking out the window at right now around Lake Eola in Orlando, which is downtown although it looks in ways like a suburban office park (although it is a very nice area, just doesn't feel like a "downtown" of a metro of 2.5 million).

Business First publishes their year in review in it every december and in it the Barrister Group (developer for Capital Plaza) stated in november that they were pushing ahead with design but alot of their project viability depends on Humana's office announcement, which is expected 3rd or 4th quarter 2009. Get ready for the slow times, I dont think well see any construction on any major develpments downtown outside the arena in 2009 (and of course the smaller condo projects, liberty green etc). 2010 may be another story though because downtown Louisville is really set to take off.

Also, while the Museum Plaza site itself shows no activity, the entire river road corridor and planned park to the west of MP are being updated, and the new transmission tower for DT is already up:
All your develpment news should be from here:
Broken Sidewalk .
Their last report on Museum Plaza was within the last month:
Broken Sidewalk . » Museum Plaza Falls Down, Climbs Up
With a site like this I NEVER look at the worthless Courier-Journal.
In the mean time the suburbs are really growing fast. Anyone taken a stroll around the gene Snyder recently? Several 6 story buildings or so are rising around it at several east end interchanges giving the city a much more metropolitan feel, and there are more large office and retail develpments planned for the Snyder corridor from Brownsboro to Bardstown rd in the next 3 years.
