Kind of like Cleveland is a typical rusting small midwest town?

For all of you who say Louisville is so southern, I suggest you write the Louisville mayor and tell him he does not know his own (native) city

Will Louisville being deemed a midwest city make the city any better or worse than it already is? Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, and Austin being part of the South has not hurt them one bit when it comes to economic and population growth.

Go look at the track record a lot of mayors around the country have had, it doesn't really suggest that you need to be the sharpest crayon in the box, just popular with deep pockets.
Because one guy stands up and says it's so doesn't make it true. (and I'm not expressing an opinion on whether it's true or not, just that your reasoning is bizarre)

And the moderator starts the personal attacks again after someone shares an opinion on an opinion forum. Insecure? I mean to be fair, it's a pretty dumb and pointless thread. It's almost like the moderator was just looking for people to disagree with such a patently false statement by the mayor (#1 homer) of Louisville.

Good job.

Louisville is a typical small southern town. Period. I hope the moderator values opinions on an opinion forum and will stop trolling his own thread. I can think of no other reason aside from trolling that the moderator would bring up Cleveland of all places. The thread is not about Cleveland, the moderator does not live in Cleveland and nor do I.

Louisville is definitly the south, I'm under the impression that 99 percent of ppl in the USA would automatically associate it with the south. It's not like being part of the south is a sin lol.
Damn I've never heard of a non midwestern city claiming/desperately wanting to be associated with the midwest before.
