Hi. I was just wondering what's a good place to stay on a weekly basis, at a reasonable price? I'd prefer a place where I won't get mugged at night, but I realize that's hard with a cheap motel.

Try the extended stay hotels around town. The first place I thought of when you said cheap motel was the Budgetel Inn on Bardstown Road, but it doesn't have a good reputation.

There's also the Louisville Hotel that is usually 30 bucks a night, unless they raise it for a city function and "forget" to lower it back down for a while. Yeah, stay away from Budgetel...
