Is there just one cable company - Time Warner? I know there's satellite also, but curious about cable. I don't even want TV. Internet only.

Also, who provides phone service? And not internet-based phone service (what if the internet goes out?). I mean actual phone lines. Regular and old-fashioned.

You can get internet only (no cable) from Time Warner (I do).

When I lived in Louisville the Home Phone service was provided by South Central Bell....
They were great! But yet,
I think I heard they are no longer there though...I am sure someone else will let you know.

I just use Vonage for my home phone plus with everyone in the house having cell phones, there is always a way to call out.

Only choices I know of for home internet are Time Warner and ATT (where available). Rates of nearly tripled since TWC bought out our regional internet company, Insight. We have TWC but they raise the price $5+ a year so it's nearly $85 just for internet. Might switch to ATT because at least the first couple of years you get a good monthly price.
