Default Louisville: NO murders in the past month!

It looks like last years high number of murders was an anomaly. The city has had 10 so far this year and NONE since Feb 15. We are on pace for 48 this year- it would be great to have zero, but that is much better than any surrounding city of a similar size

By comparison, Indy has had 21 already this year

I agree, let's hope there won't be any more this year, but cold weather typically plays a factor in numbers during winter months. It's been an indoor winter here, not excessively cold, but certainly average temps for 08 have made for uncomfortable out doors activities.

I bet, if you look, '07 was much colder. I think the average temperature for February last year was 27 or 28.

All good things must come to an end... 1 murder on the West End last night and apparently a mother killed her 2 children this morning in Okolona
