Hi, I live in Columbia, SC. The company I work for is closing its Columbia location but has offered me a job in Jeffersonville, Indiana. What are the advantages and disadvantages of living in Kentucky vs, Indiana as far as cost of living, taxes, convenience, etc are concerned.
I'm 53, single and will be renting an apartment. I'm originally from Atlanta and lived near Midtown until I moved to SC 10 years ago. |

If you are renting... get as close to your job as practical. If owning, Kentucky is a bit more investor friendly.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm getting an apartment in Clarksville. It's 3 miles from work and less than 4 miles to downtown Louisville. I'm moving at the end of the month.
