mykidsmom is on a distinguished road
Default 2 generations moving to L'ville

Hi. My family, as well as my parents, are considering a move to Louisville next summer. My husband would be working at U of L. We would like to live inside the loop and purchase an at least 1900 sf 3/2 house for around $200,000. My parents are also planning to move to retire near us. They are around 67 yo and want to live relatively close to us. They are pretty social and active. They would like to spend about $140,000 - $165,000 for a house about 1500 - 1800 sf. Is there any place that is about 5-10 minutes drive to U of L for us (how far is Highlands and St. Matthew's?) and within 5-10 of there for my parents. They want to be near us, of course.

Thanks!
