Question Sunny Side of Louisville? Huh?

O.K., what does Southern Indiana areas like Clark or Floyd County mean when they say they are the "Sunny Side of Louisville"? Do they actually get more sun, or are they dreaming? Just curious, let me know!

I guess it means that on a map they are north of us. Like an egg when it's sunny side up -- the yoke is on top.
