Default Thank You

I've been lurking for a while on this board, attempting to learn as much as I can about this city. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for posting and providing such a great resource to prospective residents (and current residents alike, I suspect).

I'm actually staying at the Ramada Inn on Zorn Ave right now and put in a bid to buy a house in Clifton yesterday. This is the second trip to Louisville my wife and I have made and we haven't yet come up with a real negative to the area. There is a ton of areas left to explore in town, but we made a very focused home search in large part because of the very credible information shared on this board daily. Thank you!

I wish it were that easy. Over a six month period that began in February I've been working full time, finishing up my master's degree in the evenings, wedding planning for my early May wedding, working on my house to get it on the market, job hunting, preparing to move and reading as many baby books as I can since we're expecting in August

It's been a little hectic, but one by one the major pieces have fallen into place and we're ecstatic about moving to a vibrant place like Louisville.

There is no way we are two hours from Memphis or 3 1/2 hours from Ark considering it is about three to nashville.

I'd like to second the OP's comment. This board and the folks who post here have been extremely helpful to newcomers in the area.

You folks are Louisville's best goodwill ambassadors!
