Default What's Going On With Museum Plaza?

Has anyone heard anything on contruction of Museum Plaza. Last thing i heard, they stopped contruction because of bedrock unstability, but i havent heard anything since.

Dowdy_Pants is on a distinguished road
Last I heard "unstable bedrock" became "whoops...we don't have money". Nothing since then.

They did update their website, though!

We should hear more in july....this project should move forward as the investors already have at least 20 million of their own money in it.

An article in the Courier today (Museum Plaza partners paying to move utilities | courier-journal | The Courier-Journal) reports that the partners behind MP are putting $14 million of their own money into tearing down and replacing the electrical transmission unit on the site and that work is starting now. They admit the lagging investment climate has delayed the project, but definitely not ended it - and this personal investment backs up that claim.

Lou, there are a lot of nasayers both in Louisville and outside it who have no idea what a happening city it is. Hopefully this is a big step toward changing that (see the downtown Louisville thread).
