Default Which area(s) of Greater Louisville are best to live in?

Your opinions.

In the poll, please select up to 4.

I'm sorry, I forgot to include Middletown, Eastwood, those areas. Since they're north of I-64, let's classify that as NE Jefferson Co.

This poll does not do a good service. I have been saying for years that while if you have school aged children Oldham County has to be at the top of your list; however, if your children happen to have special needs, depending on the severity, Jefferson County is best hands down. Otherwise, distance to work, personal amenities, and styles of life are the only method of determining where is best to live.

Default I guess I'll abstain

I could have moved to anyone of those areas and I chose the best area dollar for dollar that I could find -- Schnitzelburg. I am under 5 minutes from U of L, the highlands, and downtown, and I paid under $85/sq ft, for a brick tank of a house with a fenced yard and 2 car garage. How about giving some love to the 40217 and 40213? Although I do realize this is a poll and you can't list every neighborhood, I couldn't be happier living a block off Eastern Parkway.

Very very good point amac. If only people purchasing these overpriced, cheaply built homes in eastern Jefferson and Oldham County even had any idea about a place like Schnitzelburg....it is areas like that that make Louisville, well, Louisville.
