The west end is where most of the crime occurs but it also depends a great deal of where in the West end it is. What street is it on?

I am checking out all possibilities. Where is considered the Ville? I will see if I can find something reasonable there. All I need is enough room for me. { stuido, eff.} Thanks again.

I about snorted when I saw this post. West End. I wouldn't be caught dead there. Oh wait, I would probably GET dead there. it's completely Ghetto. Um, lessee, without being slanderous... it's the poorest part of the city. Nicely put. Try the southend: Dixie, Taylor Blvd, Fairdale, Okolona, Preston areas of Louisville. Even UofL areas would offer small apt living in a better area than downtown/west end.

I agree that the south end would probably be better that the West end but again, it also makes a difference as to where. The park Duvall area is pretty nice and I have known people who lived in the area and liked it. It really all just depends.
