Default Late October weather in Louisville?

My wife and I are planning on our second trip to Louisville in late October to make sure it's really the place we want to move. What's the weather like that time of year? What I see on the weather site is historically temperatures are around 70, which is really decent, but I'm curious if it gets rainy then as well.

The second half of September and the months of October, April and May are the best times of the year here. Late October is when first frost usually hits, but midday temps are delightful. There is no 'rainy season' really - it can hit any time of the year. One thing you notice is that it seldom just rains. We either have no rain or knock-down-drag-out torrents. In the thirty-five years I lived in Rochester NY I saw maybe 9 or 10 downpours to match the ones we get here that many times a year.
