Default JCPS Middle Schools

Hi,

Anyone have any personal experience with either of these middle schools?

Barret Traditional Middle School

Noe Middle School

We are planning to apply to both. We like the structure and challenge of learning strong organization skills, discipline, etc. of the traditional program, but we are also intrigued by the possible academic challenges of the gifted and talented program at Noe.

Anyone know much about academics at both schools? social environment?

Thank you.

Barrett is very good but Io have also heard good things about Noe. I guess it depends on what you are looking for.

Both are EXCELLENT choices in very nice urban neighborhoods. Good diversity, good teachers, and a nice environment. It is good preparation for our increasingly diverse global economy.

as a product of a jcps middle school, i'd say those two schools could be the envy of most middle schools in jeff co.
