Y-I-K-E-S!! Wyoming Bound!!! You're killin me!!! lol I thought I had a very good lead on an area and now I am not so sure. Auburndale sounded perfect, close to church with employment opportunites nearby...college just up the street..I was in heaven (Pun intended ) It is good to hear a different perspective though. Is the church in the east side that you were referring to named Southeast Christian? I heard a sermon, but I sadly didn't feel any attraction...the pastor was more reserved than I like and the sermon seemed a bit dull to me. Granted that is just one sermon, but that's all they have online. If I remember correctly, I had to buy achived sermons. At the VV church, they have a huge archive library, and so far I have not been disappointed. The senior pastor there is great. Can anybody from Southeast talk to me a bit about it? Is it lively? As an example, if you are familiar with Joyce Meyer or Creflo Dollar, that's what I am used to and like. Do you like the pastor? I guess it appeals to 18,000 so they must be doing something right LOL.

Tom, I currently live in an upper middle class area in Portland, Maine and I would like to maintain that level of living. Should Auburndale still be on my list? Again, I value your opinion (and thanks for it) since you are a realtor.

BW- thanks for your comments on the church. May I ask why you left the church?

As always, thanks to everybody for your valuable thoughts and time.

~Kellie

Wyoming bound reminds me of another poster. Give me time and I'll put my finger on it.

Auburndale is not near Shively, it's closer to PRP and Valley by the way.
