This is a no contest. The only city close to Louisville dining wise in the region is Cincy. I think Cincy and Louisville are both crushing Nashville, and especially Indy. I would rate Indy just barely above Lexington, which is not bad considering its size. People in Indy just love average chains and it was like that until recently in Nashville, which has surprised me with some very innovative restaurants in recent visits. Still, Nashville focuses on the "trendy" modern yuppie kind of indies versus the eclectic, artsy kind of indies in Louisville.
