As a fairly conservative 22 year old male, I'd say you would definitely find some people sharing your views. It may be a little harder east of downtown(which is where a good deal of the younger people hang out; bardstown rd/highlands area, frankfort ave/clifton) but there are a lot of open-minded people, conservative or liberal.

Bardstown Road and some of Clifton is somewhat bohemian, with a lot of liberals, but it's varied. To make a simple generalization, I do tend to see a lot more Obama bumper stickers than Mccain, but travel a little further east (well within Louisville) and that changes quite a bit.

Default Love Louisville

It's really all in what you make of it, anyplace that you live can be Great! Your happiness cannot depend on someone else. You have to find that inside of you.

In any case; Louisville is a friendly place you should fit in fine.
