Well, is it?

A number of craigslist ads describe the location as heart of the Highlands.

Thanks, FF

The heart of the Highlands probably means somthing near the intersection of Eastern Parkway & Bardstown Rd.

The Highlands is a very urban area (more a mid sized city) with tons of shops lined up in historic buildings right off the road. I lived in that area for a year and really miss being able to ride a bike or walk to 20 restaurants in 5 minutes - here in the burbs of Lexington (or any other city) you have to drive 5 miles to walk on a 1 mile path.

When I'm done with school I can't wait to live either off Bardstown Rd in Lou or around Downtown Lex where walking is actually something you can do outside your house - no treadmills needed!

No kidding. It like a mid-sized city, eh. I am pondering your perspective.

Who is Steve Kragthorpe? A coach, I bet. I did live in Kentucky for a year awhile back.
