Your blog might get some looks if you mention that VS has the same median income as St Matthews & Lyndon

As an outsider to the Louisville area (born in Cincinnati area, raised in Russell Springs & Lexington) the main problem with the VS/ PRP area is the public schools. The area is overall pretty clean and has a lot more new housing developments than people think, especially in the 'garden home' and apartment sector. The Levee/ Mill Creek Bike Trail & Jefferson Memorial Forest are park features that the snootiest areas of Lexington would love to have.

i agree about the median income. valley station and prp have a great median income that many residents in jefferson county are not aware of. i do agree that the public schools are in the areas are not the best. i think the lack of amenities are what turns off most people from the area. the forum as a whole could do a better job of suggesting valley station and PRP to potential buyers as well! ;-)

Ooh ooh, pick me, pick me!! (Shrek/Donkey style) I'm happy to don a shorty skirt and spankies for my hometown area. Where can I collect my pompoms?

On a more serious note, I'm probably not much help way Down Under, but if I can be of any service, please do feel free to PM me. Always happy to help!

The south and southwest end need more ambassadors to help promote a positive view of our end of town.
