I've started a blog focused in and around Valley Station. The Valley Report-A Voice for Southwest Louisville.

http://valleyreport.blogspot.com

We have some good things to offer in Southwest Louisville, and more is on the way. It is a thriving part of the city that is on the verge of great things!

Ohhh this is awesome. I will definitely be looking at this. As a PRP resident away in Oklahoma for college, this will be another resource I can use to check what's going on back home. I actually just flew in a few hours ago for Thanksgiving break and drive by the renovated Shively center. I had no idea that was being done, and it was on your blog when I looked. It looked great!

Let me also add that we need representatives to "sell" or tell why they like their part of the metro, and the SW suburbs, including Fort Knox, are underrepresented. Missy is currently our only active poster from there. We also need to see more posters from other outlying suburbs especially S Indiana and some the SE burbs and rural exurbs like Spencer shelby and bullitt counties. I would like an expert in each place on this site

I'm with STX. we need many more cheerleaders for our end of the county and others that are under-represented.

I'm trying my best to shed some light on our community, and staying positive as much as possible. We have the resources to improve what we need to improve. As long as the commitment by residents is there.

Thanks for your comments, and visit often! I need your input!

I am also interested in starting a block watch in the Golden Meadows subdivision in Valley Station, off of Valley Station Road near Deering Road. If you or someone you know lives in that area, please have them contact me here or via the website.

Thanks
