Ahhh! It feels so great to be home for the break. When I flew in a few hours ago, I literally got chills when we flew over the skyline at night. It was beautiful. Just wanted to share with you guys that Louisville is such a great place to live and I can't wait to get out of college and raise my family here! (if the gal wants that, that is! but i'm working on her!)

I know what you mean about getting those chills when flying in at night. My flights always invariably have me coming in near midnight. My poor mother and sister--they are the family taxi!

Can't wait to come home--maybe NEXT Thanksgiving--my Aussie hubby hasn't experienced Halloween, Thanksgiving or a cold Christmas, so he's in for a real treat!

I took a transfer to Dayton so i could be closer to kin in Louisville...so I could drive in instead of fly in. Only 2 1/2 hours, so easy to return to this great city on weekend! I was there this weekend, and gave my partner a drive through the Knobs on the way back home.
