Default Moving to Louisville

Hello.

There's a pretty good chance that I'll be moving to the area. I'm currently living in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Can anyone give me a heads up on where I want and don't want to live within the city? I'm looking for a 2 bedroom apartment and would like to keep rent under $900. If you know of a cheaper place that is nice, pass it on,too.

I'm a single parent with a 10 year daughter so I'd like places with good public schools.

Thanks!

Found this!

-Where you are working? VA
-How much you are willing to spend on housing. Renter, 2 bedroom, no more than $900/month.
-How long of a commute you're willing to tolerate. As short as possible. Not more than 10 miles.
-If you have kids: Private school or public school? Public.
-What type of neighborhood environment you are looking for: small town feeling? small city excitement? suburbia delight? Cozy but not too small. Family oriented.
-Community amenities important to you. Playground, pool, walking/fitness trail.
-Pie or cake? Neither.

I would look along Hillcrest/Frankfort Ave area where your child can be enrolled in Field Elm. (It literally sits two doors from the Mayors home, so its got to be good.) This will put you less than a mile to VA and you should be able tg rent a two bed duplex, etc.

It should be easy to find an apartment for less than 900/month. Good luck and Welcome to Louisville!
