TeamZissou is on a distinguished road
That depends on a couple of things. First, with over 25 excellent restaurants already in Clifton along Frankfort Ave, and a dozen more you can walk to easily along Brownsboro Rd or further up Frankfort in Crescent Hill, do you really need to walk to Bardstown for the restaurant scene? We haven't yet.

Second, how much do you like to walk? I've never walked to a restaurant over that way, but there is a dog grooming business with a self-service option right at the junction of Baxter and Cherokee. It's the lower end of the whole restaurant/bar scene along the Baxter/Bardstown corridor and it's almost exactly two miles from my door. Well worth it walking there and back to avoid getting wet dog smell all over my car, and I routinely walk my dog 3+ miles on weekends anyway. But I don't routinely walk 3+ miles to dine out! (Nor do I have to in Clifton)

Excellent post. And welcome to the forum! We could use a poster from Clifton. Johnny, Clifton/Crescent Hill arguably have a better and more upscale restaurant scene than the Highlands! Louisville is blessed with amazing restaurants, placing it easily in the top 20 of all places I have traveled to, which is almost every major US metro.
