Default No Internet service at PRP 40258

I'm moving to the PRP area, zipcode 40258 but have problem finding Internet service provider for that area. I currently have DSL but all the companies I've contacted only provide Dial-up in my area. I've contacted AT&T, Verizon, Earthlink, AOL, PeoplePC, none of them provide DSL in my area.

It's 40258 near Dixie Highway, still in the populated area but only dial-up service is available. Am I missing something? If you know an Internet service provider that offer DSL in my area (40258), please let me know

Check AT&T - Phone service, AT&T U-verse, DIRECTV, Wireless, DSL Internet. There is some issue with the merger of information.

Insight is the local cable internet provider. I don't like them for several reasons, but I dislike dial-up internet worse. You might also check with Lightyear.

I have DSL with AT&T and am only one zipcode over. I am pretty sure you can get it in 40258 also. Maybe try bellsouth and see what they say.

I can't remember why, but my mom and my sister both wound up having to go with Insight for broadband service; they were with Bellsouth prior on phone so assume Bell provided their dial up, which was horrid--always had problems with it dropping out or just being plain sloooooooowwwwwwww.

As far as I know they're pretty happy with Insight, but then again, when I call home for a chat we generally don't discuss how happy we are with the service our respective utility and phone companies provide! lol

AT&T took over Bellsouth and Cingular.
