Hi Everyone!

I relocated to Ft. Knox from Georgia recently so I am looking for a new Hair Stylist. I am willing to drive to Louisville, or elizabethtown, or anywhere thats not more than 90 minutes. I'm looking for someone that is really good with color, low lights/high lights, ect.

Any Suggestions?

Default where not to go!

Ive lived here for a year and a half now and have yet to find anyone who is really good! I found two in a row though who were by far the worst stylists Ive ever been too..the worst being in St. Matthews. (TERRIBLE cut, TERRIBLE color, TERRIBLE SERVICE) She was from JRs Salon and I spent five hours there (because she kept screwing up the color) and I then would not even straighten my hair for me before I left. Needless to say, I had to go to another salon the same week to and ended up with brittle hair.

absolutely go to see Faith or Autumn at Z Salon in Louisville, on hurstbourne lane at shelbyville road. it's an aveda salon. they are by far the best colorists I've ever experienced. only about $140 to $150 for long hair for color and low lights and a gloss coating. and you'll look gorgeous! I've been to both of them and they are both excellent.

kristi, a stylist at Z Salon, is their best hair stylist. but she doesn't do color. she charges $100 for a cut and style.

best part - Z salon doesn't allow tips so you save that portion of the usual cost, allowing you to splurge a bit on the actual hair cut/color.

and, for the record, I lived in los angeles for 10 years and know all about good/bad stylists. I've been to the best - and probably the worst! I know the difference.
