What's your favorite part? Mine's catching Lamont Gillispie and the 100 Proof Blues Band in the Bud tent. And of course, a couple of brats and a cold beer.

I'll be there on a few occasions. Primary day: KY Farm Bureau day. The ham breakfast, all the politicians (this year could be fun), and then my wife and I will host the Oldham County Pride of the Counties booth.

I'll stop by the booth and say hello. Hope to see you there.

Awwwwww, I really want to go to the Fair! I haven't been since 2002.... It is one of my most favourite events.

I love everything about it: the food, the smells, the sounds, the arts & crafts, the livestock, the shows, the different informaton booths, the mix of people from EVERY walk of life, the bands and entertainment.......it's just a fantastic thing to go to!

Every year I say, We're going home in August, so I can take you to the Fair!

And every year something keeps us from getting there in August. But I will continue.....and besides I haven't come across a Brat or a Polish Sausage here yet that tasted as good as one you get there!

Everyone have a great time--ride the Tilt-a-Whirl (my family....I believe we were all professional Tilt-a-Whirlers in a previous life!) and watch the piggies race for Oreo's and think of me while you do it! I shall be there in spirit!

I'll be there on Senior Citizen Day -- the first time I qualify for the discount!

Of course, the flip side is that means I'm old.
