Yet, I've lived in the Louisville Metro area both in Indiana and Kentucky and have yet to see this greatness that supposedly exists in Louisville. I'm hardly defending DC but seriously there are better places in the USA to move to than Kentucky. That's why within one year I hope to be out of state. I have a few loose ends to tie up here and as soon as the economy starts to rebound, I'm heading either back north or east.

Louisville overall as a city just doesn't have it. Limited shopping around Louisville compared what you might be used to in say Charlotte, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Nashville, Indianapolis, etc. Its not that great of a place and yeah, some nice restaurants but nice restaurants are pretty much everywhere of any sized population. As far as the arts go, theres not that much here to really brag about or its really not all that its cracked up to be. Zero professional sports and a Derby of which one week plus is fun but thats about it. So you'll live here for a while and think its all great and it might be if you are from a small town. I grew up in a small town so I had that experience before moving to the city. But I will say there are better cities and suburbs overall in other states.

Entertaining commercial...I kinda liked it.

I doubt if Louisville is a great city by any means. BUT, it certainly ISN'T an expensive city, and it also doesn't appear to be an ever expanding suburban sprawl of a city either...two things which most cities have become with very few imbetween.

*(read quickly at the end) Side effects may include weight gain, depression, nausea, vomiting, headaches, heartburn, hair loss, diarrhea, dry mouth, water retention, hallucination, and painful rectal itch. Please consult your doctor before moving to Louisville.

Ha, just kidding. I love Louisville, I'm just making fun of the drug commercial style. And I thought the cure for ITHAGT was Viagra, Cialis, or Levitra?
