You may want to contact the Lawyer Referral Service run by the Louisville Bar Association. They give you the name of an attorney who concentrates in divorce work and you get a 30 minute free consultation. That gives you a chance to see if you feel comfortable with that attorney. Their number is either 583-1801 or 583-5314. (My notes say two different things!)

Catherine Kamenish took my case pretty last minute, after a previous attorney had botched it. She impressed me with her ability to get up to speed fast, and to handle a weepy mess such as I was at the time.
