Hey all!

Anyone know a good place to take extra trash, or some big metal pieces like an old chain link fence?

Need to find a place to dump stuff I can't put in the trash.

Thanks!

Near St. Matthews if possible!

Louisville has a information clearing house called "City Call." You can dia 311 to be connected. They will able to advise you of such drop off places and many more questions you might have about city services.

For any sizeable amount of trash, it's easier to rent a dumpster and fill it up (they haul).

For the metal fence, it's worth money! There is a decent metal recycle shop on Grade Lane (just south of the aiport). Welcome to Industrial Services of America, Inc.

Scrap metal (non aluminum, copper, etc) is worth about $200 per ton. Depending on how much fencing you have, you may end up with $50.
