I am glad there are still school districts with parents on the school board who recognize that those are signs of troubled and/or undisciplined children, and require standards (what was that, did I just hear a gasp?), yes, standards, in the kids. Well whatdya know, I am impressed, Texas!

You can teach a kid math after high school; you can't teach them how to be men or wome after they leave the teenage years.

I feel there needs to be higher standard in our schools and I don't have a problem with a dress code. Lubbock is a nice city, but seem's to be a bit isolated.

It does have a decent airport. Just get a SW Airlines Rewards credit card and hop on if you want a quick getaway.
