Alright, Hubbers, coming to a water tower near you (and anyplace Lubbock logo designs happen to appear), the city of Lubbock could be on the verge of reshaping itself. City council officials have this on the table for discussion, and visual designs are being dangled. I think it's a refreshing change for a city that is growing and changing.

Here's the link for info: https://www.lubbockonline.com/story/...BOCK-NLETTER65

I've got nothing against windmills (for which the area has long been known for), but I think an image change to something more bold is exactly what Lubbock needs at this time. We should be hearing more about this in due course. Honestly, this would look great on promotions for the city.

Let 'er rip with what you think, but please keep it on topic. Here we go!

I think it’s alright. A more creative logo might be Lubbock spelled out, but with an electric guitar instead of a “k.” Just a random idea.

Not bad in and of itself, but I think the giant LBK will resonate with a lot of people. It's telling people "Welcome to The LBK".

By the way, the Lubbock City Council is expected to vote on this proposal on September 12.
