After a year and a half in the frozen north, I get an opportunity to move back to Texas. How is Lubbock for a single guy? Best part of town for an apartment or even to buy a house? I know the cost of living will be more what I am used to. Help!!

ever! You can look south and west or over by Texas Tech University. Canyon West, I believe, has some new residences going in, but I'll have to check for specifics. The opportunities are as good as ever. I don't know what you're asking for as far as price. And they've got strong business growth -- I think this year has been their biggest year.
