I don’t know what the current unemployment rate is in Lubbock, but I notice I see “Now Hiring” signs and banners all over town. I’ve also been handed “Job Fair” flyers upon checking out of a couple of businesses that say things like “on-the-spot job offers.”

Well, even more hopefully, people will see this forum and this thread. The Texas economy is very good, and Lubbock's should be every bit as good. They have to draw workers. They have to be out there, even if they have to drive from Midland or Amarillo.

And "on the spot" is a very good thing!
