I just hope Tech puts as much effort into winning out as they did beating UT.Otherwise, all they have done is knock one Texas team out of the nat champ race and then blew the chance themselves. It will be a crying shame if Tech's win and has no other affect than giving USC or OK another shot at the big game.

Um, I believe Tech gives its all in every game. Just look at the numbers -- this is not a team of slackers.

Don't rush the field until the game is actually over, idiots. Act like you've won a big game before.

[/rant]

TT is No. 2, ranked higher than No. 5 in the nation for the first time ever. It'll be interesting where they end up in the BCS after this.

Well it was the biggest win in Tech history. First time to beat a #1 ranked team, and their 500th win as a team. I guess the Kids did have reasons to get a little excited. After all you have to remember they are just kids. I have seen Texas kids rush their field and other teams fields too. This and the other post just has a hint of sour grapes.

I'm not a "fan" of any school, per se, just a fan of the game. I realize it's a big win, etc. but they only helped make it easier for UT to run back the kickoff to take the win. And that they did it not once but twice before and after the kick.
