MACON, Ga. -- The Macon-Bibb Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a hearing on Monday about a controversial Zebulon Road rezoning. Known as the Lofts at Zebulon, the company Sierra Development would construct four four-story buildings, creating over 240 one, two and three-bedroom units, a pool area, parking garages and retail space.

I really would like to see upscale condos built in North Macon-Bibb. I know that lofts are nothing but another name for fancy apartments. Nothing close to condos.

You haven't been to much of what's called subsouth Macon have you? There are lots of nice neighborhoods in South Macon.... Hartley Bridge area.
