If you are riding through Macon this week, on the Freeways of I-16 / I-75, expect delays. Seems as though they are starting on the 2nd phase of the project as well which will close down some lanes on I-75 near Downtown Macon.

Old Bridges being Demolished this Week as bridge work continues through Friday on the I-16 / I-75 Interchanges through Downtown Macon. It's crazy how different that Area looks already. This new interchange is going to be a Game Changer for Macon..

I use that exchange daily and even I get caught off guard with how it looks. Coming in from Atlanta on I-75 looks so much different, it's amazing.

And they’ve really just begun the transformation! All the trees north of the 16 split and along the river have yet to be even taken out yet.

Default Expect delays on I16/I75 on Monday and Tuesday 26th and 27 of August

About time the lane shifts back to normal that concrete barrier just pops up almost out of nowhere like a horror movie.
