Default Does "Macon" remind you of "bacon"?

Not just because it rhymes, but because they like their hogs down there...

Absolutely. Even their hockey team was named the Macon Bacon.

Oops, sorry; they were actually called the Macon Whoopie.

Why, are Maconites easily offended?

Hogs are cute and bacon is tasty, why would you be offended by them? lol.

Growing up in Hogansville, GA, rival teams would come to high school games making pig noises because of the first three letters of the town (nevermind it is not pronouced Hawgansville).

Glad to see some other city in the state can be related to our porcine friends.
