Default Road Construction

I know this is kind of random, but does anyone know when the construction on University Ave. will be done. It looks like there is no end in sight. I am concerned that they wont finish before snowfall. I moved here in spring and know nothing but construction on that damn road. It's incredibly frustrating.

Would you believe, today?

Here's a recap: http://host.madison.com/ct/news/loca...cc4c002e0.html

Most construction projects wrap up in mid-Nov as the ground starts to freeze up, which is the start of that "other" season....

Thanks. I drove home today and my commute was cut in half. Hooray. Unfortunately by looking at the site, I see that we have the same to look forward to next year from Segoe to Allen. Sigh...

Someone forgot to explain there are only two seasons here:
Winter, and Construction.
Come April you may be looking forward to construction season...

I came from Michigan, so I understand the construction thing. I feel that here, they decided to work on most of my major arteries to work at once. In MI, I could at least find alternate routes. This summer I felt that every road in Madison was being worked on. Maybe it's stimulus money.
