I tried the Glass Nickel tonight and it was quite good, although spendy. They seem to charge more for toppings as well. I'm not sure if I can give a comprehensive review because I have to get the Gluten free pizza crust. The Gluten free crust tends to be of the very thin crust variety and can be prone to slight overbaking. The cheese and toppings were excellent, though.

Not sure if you've lived in the upper Midwest before now, but super-thin, cracker-crisp crust is a common style in the general area, particularly in and around the Chicago area. I don't know if the gluten-laden crust would be any thicker.

I don't eat wheat and I'm not a big fan of gluten free pizza crust in general. The pizza was very good overall and I do have leftovers for tomorrow I'm happy as long as I don't go to a pizza chain.

Nothing wrong with chains if they're good. Sometimes Rosati's just hits the spot.

Uno's and Biaggi's also offer gluten-free pizza options, though I am not a big fan of either.

I tried Brutta... BIG PLUS+ Yummy... fit the bill just fine. That's the only one I've been to, but my plan is to make it a winter project.

If you liked Brutta, you will also like "Naples 15" (almost as good, crust a bit thicker, and a bit more expensive) and Porta Alba (some pizzas better than others).

I have no idea if you make pizza at home, but if you need gluten free crust, the best is "Namaste". They are a line of gluten free mixes that are pretty fantastic. It already has herbs in it, you just mix it with water and a little olive oil and bake it. It rises really well, IF you like thick crust that's still crispy, it's the only way to go. My husband has been gluten free for 5 years now, so I have tried just about any product out there.

And the Hy-Vee grocery store on East Washington a block east of Stoughton Road has the best selection of GF foods of any store in the city. Woodman's is pretty good, the Willy Street Co-op is pretty good, but I think Hy-Vee has more GF offerings than both Woodman's and the Co-op put together.

Sorry, kind of off-topic for the best pizza joint in town. We now return you to your regularly scheduled discussion of the relative merits of Madison's pizza restaurants....
