Default Latest on Waunakee power line situation?

Hello,
We are relocating to the Madison area next year and Waunakee is on our list of possible places to buy a home. We just learned of the power line issue and would like to know where things stand. The latest information we have is that there were hearings scheduled in August. Any more information would be helpful (including general opinions about living in Waunakee). Thank you.

Default Living in Waunakee

Hello, I currently live in Waunakee, and am from Elkhorn, WI. Waunakee is much like Elkhorn, in that it's a very small quiet town. It's very close to madison, about 10-15 minutes depending which side you want to go to. The town itself is very clean, low crime, and there's always some community event going on, whether it be firefighters dinners or Waunafest. The schools from what I hear are very good. Although there isn't much in the way of entertainment and cuisine here, Madison is very nearby as I said.
