I return home in about three days and I urgently need to buy something for my gf that is uniquely Wisconsin if at all possible. If this is not possible then any gift that is good for a female. I am considering a handbag but I'm hoping I can do better since that is a typical gift.

Also, some gifts for her nieces, nephews, and something for her mom would be nice to if you have recommendations. Thank you.

Actually many of the area cheese houses will ship items and what says WI more then some good ol cheese

As for kids, one could consider Bucky Badger items depending on their age. Of course if they already are fans of a different college then that may not work.

Yes, cheese does say Wisconsin pretty clearly... But I don't think she would be too happy if I just bought her cheese. I may just take the 'easy' way out and get her a bag. I just can not think of anything else similar to that.

For the kids, where is a good place to check out the Bucky Badger items? I am assuming somewhere at Hilldale mall?

yeah Hilldale should have some shops that sell UW merchandise, and if you're heading downtown you'd find plenty of options along State st as well.

It just kind of feels like doing the same thing as Honolulu when I buy generic 'bags' and whatnot. But I guess it's just like that sometimes unfortunately.

If you're going downtown, I would suggest checking out the Wisconsin State Historical Society gift shop on the Capitol Square. Loads of Wisconsin items, you might like something there.

Buy some Wisconsin glasses or mugs. Make her a brandy old fashioned or 2. Get some Sprechers root beer for the kids.
