Having a hard time deciding which high school my son should attend. I know Monona Grove and Middleton aren't part of the MMSD but I was hoping you could tell me about these three schools. My family values academics more than anything. The more AP classes, the better. The student body matters very much, too. Any other information you could give would be very helpful!

guess my first questions would be where around town do you live, for access to any of the schools mentioned? Are you in one school's area for busing if rides are not available, vs others that you'd have to drive him to and fro each day?

You should also add Waunakee and Verona to your list, but it really does depend on the transportation options to your chosen school from your home. Where do you live?

Do you have the possibility of visiting the three schools you are interested in? They are all academically excellent schools, so it would be hard to tell you which one would be better for your child.
