Noise from Angell Park Sprint races? (Madison, Sun Prairie: how much, home, schools)

I'm looking at moving to the Sun Prairie area. One of the places is in the gentrified area down by Angell Park and the police station. I know they hold Sprint races at the park. How much noise do you hear from the races? Anything else to be aware of? I currently live on a noisy street and would like to avoid that.

yes, depending on how close you actually are, you may hear some of the noise from the races (i believe only held on Sundays in summer months). Add in traffic in the area during the big Corn Fest celebration, etc so certain times of the year it may be pronounced.
But unless living right on Main I would think noise would be no different than other areas. Traffic in the am's and pm's though likely higher with the volume of those in transit to work plus the area schools.

I'd add to consider where work may be vs the home location; driving thru SP every am will definitely add time to a commute if one works in Madison, etc so just something to think about if applicable.
