I graduated from Madison in 1998 and since then have lived across the country in a few different cities which have been larger and expensive than Madison. Iím interviewing at two companies and hopefully will have an offer shortly.

Iím a 45 year old female who is single. What are the dating prospects like for women my age?

How easy is it to make friends here at my age?

I enjoy hikes, farmers markets, and yoga. Also, enjoy trying new restaurants and wine. I also love to travel, shop, and enjoy regular beauty things like manicures and facials. Is this all available to me?

I went around a bit on the first interview and liked the West Madison and Middleton areas. Would this be a good choice?

Iím in line with the politics and am a social worker so that shouldnít be an issue.

Iím not a huge sports fan though, is that a problem?

Well, you said, already, in the Milwaukee Forum, under a different name, that you already had your apartment. SO, just move there. AND, you said you had a job lined up. SO, which is it?

What is with people acting like detectives on this site? People are just looking for info and gossip about areas. Isn't that the point?? OP - I saw on another site that some folks had a hard time adjusting to Middleton as their neighborhood felt conservative relative to other neighborhoods and had lots of stay at home moms they had difficulty connecting with, perhaps due to daily schedule differences among other things. I'm just here visiting and on this site out of curiosity. The visit is great - there is a lot here and a funky, open vibe around town.

Her post is quite obviously a ruse.

When people create different identities and their stories differ, but you know they're the same person, they should get called out. Obviously, she's fabricating stories, for a reason....part was to bash Milwaukee. It will be interesting to see if she has another purpose. Looks like you're new, too.

Methinks OP and the person accusing us of acting like detectives are the same person.
